“The cottage is beautifully styled, very comfortable and set in beautiful gardens. Every care had been taken to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay, it was a particularly cold weekend and we were warm and cosy, we loved the fireplace. The cottage is family friendly, our group spanned 3 generations and we all felt very welcome. Jess was excellent in all communication and she happily took us on a tour of the citrus grove and chicken farm which was really fascinating! She was attentive to our needs but respectful of our privacy. We would definitely recommend this property, we had a lovely weekend. There is lots to explore in the area, a great getaway just the right distance from Sydney. We look forward to returning one day.”

“We had a great weekend away. Perfect for a family getaway or weekend among friends. We were two couples + our son. The garden is beautiful. The house even more beautiful. Very well decorated. The fireplace is so nice! Perfect communication. We couldn’t ask for anything better. Thank you. I recommend this place highly and will go again.”

“Sticky Fig Retreat is a wonderful peaceful getaway! We visited for a relaxing weekend away with my husband and our 3 grown up children and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The property is amazing as is the spacious home and that fire place was fabulous. The home is very well equipped with lots of little extras and there are so many beautiful spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. The gardens are truly beautiful and the tour of the property visiting the chickens was a real hit. Jess is a wonderful host and was very attentive to our needs. We didn’t want to leave and we all agreed, we will definitely return to Sticky Fig Retreat soon. Thank you Jess.”

“I wish I could describe every gorgeous detail of this listing but what my husband and I have experienced goes far beyond words. First of all, the pictures DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE! Jess, your place was so amazing! And I cannot WAIT to come back to share the space with my family. Sharing the weekend in this beautiful space was easily our highlight of the weekend! That BATHTUB is perfectly deep and the water feels so soft and fresh! The kitchen is fullsize with generous equipment, quality cookware! a coffee machine, I’m in love with the stove and oven. The french doors that complimented the living and dining areas were the perfect touch as well as your tasteful finishings around the home! The grounds OMG! I needed the peace, to be surrounded by nature and a gorgeous, thoughfully well kept garden! Outside our bedroom was the koi pond and a beautiful rose bush!!!! Come on!!!!! The veggie garden is a chef’s DREAM! Gorgeous organic herbs and veggies! I absolutely loved hearing the chooks during the day. It made us both feel like we were well and truely separated from busy bustling Sydney. Jess was so kind and showed us around the grounds and we appreciated the chicken education! Learning about the different breeds and even interacting with the baby chicks! So SPECIAL! I loved the quality of amenities! The towels were thick and the bed sheets were like butter! I’m so amazed! Thank you for making our first year anniversary incredibly special! I’m dying for an opportunity to come back! Thank you!”

“Jess is an exquisite host. She is incredibly thoughtful for leaving freshly laid eggs from the chooks on the property, choccies and a very kind note. Her home is comfortable, stylish and spacious.
